COSMO CRICKET'S HERE!!

Cosmo Cricket is a fairly new company that everyone is going crazy for... and we are now carrying it!! We have all the new product in and is FABULOUS!! We all the Dutch Girl line in and the Halfway Cafe packs in as well. They have several chipboard products in that are great too. My favorite product of theirs is... Buck Naked Buttons and More & the covers. They are so cute. These are huge chipboard buttons that have patterned paper that is made to fit. They also have some lacing cards that are for making accordion albums. We have Buck Naked Cigar Boxes too that would be great to alter and use as a gift box, organization box or so much more. Another huge trend at CHA was journaling cards and Cosmo Cricket joined in. The journaling cards are another favorite! In other words... come check out this much sought after scrapbook line, it won't last long!

Okay, as most of you have figured out, we Will be having an out-of-store retreat in May. This will be National Scrapbook weekend! How perfect is that?!?! This "Sweet Retreat" is going to be amazing. We are finalizing some of the details right now, but the big announcement with all the details will be made March 1st. So make sure you get to the store, call the store and/or check the blog!!! We have so many ideas and plans for this retreat. It is going to be fabulous... we promise!! So, stay tuned... more to come March 1st!

As most of you know, we have been having sales every weekend in Feb. on a certain product line. Well, this is the last weekend of the month, so make sure you take advantage of this opportunity. GOT TT?

I know that I have not posted in a while, but I have been feeling a little down in the dumps. As they say... "I am sick and tired of being sick and tired". But we just got in all the new Technique Tuesday stamps, which has brightened my day a bit! I have taken pics of some of it, so check it out! We are already planning for our first TT Tour Date and it is going to be fabulous!! I can promise you that this will all go very quickly, so make sure you get what you want while it lasts!!!

Tour Technique Tuesday with us!

At long last we have the details for our Technique Tuesday Tour! The journey will begin on March 6th at 6:30. We have spoken with Technique Tuesday and they are very excited about our adventure! The cost is $35.00 for the year! This fee will earn you all the year's "new release collectors stamps" and a 20% discount on all TT products. We will meet every two months to experiment and learn new techniques using all the great TT stamps. Passports will begin being issued Feb. 26th. Come join us for the adventure! Claire

SCRAPBOOK LIFESTYLE VIDEOS

I hope everyone had a great V-Day! I just wanted to let you all know about something new that is now on the blog. I have a link under the "other great sites" heading for Scrapbook LifeStyle Videos. This is so cool. If you click on this link it will take you to a video screen. They play all types of instructional videos. To my knowledge the video changes almost everyday. They play clips on new techniques, new products and other great information. At the end of the video, it will ask you if you have a favorite scrapbook store... and I know you all want to put us!! :) If enough people put SI&M as their favorite store, Scrapbooks ETC. will come record one of the videos at our very own store!!! How cool is that?!?!?! We will be announcing all of the Technique Tuesday Tour details and giving the dates of when you can book your "trip" either today or tomorrow!! So keep in touch! Have a great day! *I just watched the video for today and it was a 3 min. clip about adding texture to your layouts by using molding paint. Very neat... check it out!

A TOUR OF TECHNIQUE TUESDAY... coming soon!!

We are planning so many great things at the store right now and we are all so excited!! Sometime around Feb. 20 we should be receiving all of the new Technique Tuesday clear stamp products!! This is one of our favorite companies and we can't wait. But, for all of you who love it too... we have something great planned. We will be meeting once every two months to "tour" Technique Tuesday! If you love these products, love stamping or are just very interested in stamping, this will be something very fun and beneficial for you. We will be exploring the hobby of clear stamping alongside our beloved hobbies of scrapbooking and card-making. This will be something very new for our store and for Technique Tuesday. When we approached them with this idea they immediately got very excited about the possibilities for all of us! At this point we do not know exactly when we will begin or what all of the details will be, but... stay tuned!

QUICKUTZ CLUB!!!

Quickutz Club is always so much fun. We gave away over $150 worth of QK product tonight. The winners were... Kristen Hugley, Susan Spires and Lynne Smith. Congrats!! Judy Ireland (a fab employee) makes some kind of delicious dessert each month that doesn't last long. This month was, obviously, Valentine themed, so this Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cake was the goodie of the month. Claire demonstrated the new craft cutter from QK called Silhouette. It was a huge hit. If you are interested in the QK Club, please give the store a call! Not only do we get great dessert and have lots of fun, but we absolutely LOVE the product!!!

NEW PRODUCT!!

Sandylion's new school line has come and boy, is it cute?!?! It has wonderful colors! Bazzill has arrived as well. BLING is now back in stock, but probably won't last too long. So... come and get it!!

LOVIN' QUICKUTZ!?!

Hey everyone!! We already have several addicted readers because there was some distress over the fact that I did not post anything yesterday!! :) You guys are killin' me! But, have no fear... I am posting today! Didn't you guys know that Sunday is a day of rest?!?! He he he!! Anyways, I just wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow night from 6:30 - 8:30 is the Quickutz Club meeting! Claire will be demonstrating the new digital craft cutter, "Silhouette". It is incredible. So make sure you get on the special order list asap if you want one of these!!

A Year in Memories Album

This is a board book album class that is Sat. Feb. 24 @ 10am - 12pm. This little album has a one page spread for each month of the year. If you want to highlight special moments from last year or this one, this is the project to do it with!

NEED TO BE INSPIRED?!?!

How about getting inspired with EK's new Inspirables line!! I don't know about ya'll, but I absolutely love this line! Very pretty! As you can see this line has papers and tons of embellishments. It has some fabulous 6x12 albums. I already have my eye on one for a Mother's Day gift.

NEW PRODUCT

As most of you know, Quickutz is one of our favorite products at Scrapbooks, Invitations and More. At CHA, they released a digital cutter. It is wonderful. They have now arrived at the store. If you want to see one in action, let us know. Claire has been playing with it today and from what I hear is now a pro. A little preview for those of you already checking this blog out... go ahead and mark you calendars for National Scrapbook Weekend. We have a BIG announcement coming very soon! JUST MORE NEWS

We have gotten our second shipment of things that were ordered at show. (1st was Quickutz) EK Success has come and it is very cute. They have new patterned Fastenators, a new (gorgeous) Inspirables line, of course new cool Jolee's, a new line from Stacy Claire Boyd (awesome patterned papers) and some great graduation stuff! You can browse through their new stuff at: http://www.eksuccess.com/products_list.php . I am really excited about the new Inspirables line. It has a lot of soft teals and pinks... very pretty. I also have a quick announcement about something fun we are doing in the store. We are having a Layout Contest with the Deja Views Fresh Prints lines. These are the purple, blue and green lines. They are beautiful. There is an entry form that you need at the store with all of the details. If you want to participate you should: 1. call the store for details 2. have the layout turned in before Feb. 28. The winner will be determined by customer votes and will win a 20% off shopping spree coupon. I really hope you all participate, I think it will be fun! Your layouts will be featured in the store for the first week of March! OK and just on a side note... thanks to everyone for their encouraging comments about the blog! (special thanks to Dede for showing me how!) I am hoping that this will turn into the main source of information an the store happenings! I am still trying to figure out how to cut and paste product pics or even if I can, but I will have photos of new product soon if nothing else!

New Product Coming in Feb.

I just wanted to let you all know of a couple of things that will be coming sometime this month. Bo Bunny is one of all of our favorites. They sure have some beautiful lines coming out and we will be getting pretty much all of it. We will have the Anna Sophia, Play All Day, Sweet Summer, Spring Jewels, Garden Chic and Daydream Lines. Check out their website: www.bobunny.com . We have got tone of A2Z Essentials coming as well. This company will be new to our store and we are so excited about this. Ok, so I still have not been able to make photos work the way I would like them to, so, obviously there aren't any on this post, but there will be if it is the last thing I do!!! But if nothing else, you can check out their product on their websites. I will continue posting about new product, so keep coming back. I promise I will get better at this with practice! (we can only hope, huh?!?!)

Hello, hello everyone! I am really excited about this blog. I am somewhat technologically challenged, so this is quite an accomplishment for me! I am hoping that this blog will be a better source of communication from us at Scrapbooks, Invitations and More to all of our great customers. Emails get to be such a hassle and as most of you have noticed, our email server didn't quite cooperate. This may take us a while to get this going like we want, so please bear with us.
