I just thought that I would pass on some info about the website. As you know, it has been down for a little while. As soon as we know what is going on, we will let you know more. Everything is okay though, so just keep checking the blog!!

Check out the top of the Art Bar!! Cute, huh?!?! We are so excited, things are really coming together! There have been a lot of questions on how things will work, etc... So, I thought I would answer some of those questions!

Creative Cafe FAQ:

Which Creative Cafe Collection did SI&M get?

We have recieved the "Spirit" Line at this time. It comsists of bright greens, blues, reds, pinks & oranges. If you guys love it as much as we think you will, we are hoping to get the "Lucky Collection"

I can't make it to Happy Hour, can I still purchase Creative Cafe products?

Of course! The Creative Cafe will be open all of the time, there will only be a few pre-determined times of the week to make a Happy Hour Project.

When will Happy Hour take place?

Get a pen & paper to right down this schedule... Mondays 10:00am - 11:00am; Wednesdays 2:00pm - 3:00pm; Thursdays 6:00pm - 7:00pm; then the 1st Saturday of each month 11:00am -12:00pm (Don't forget though... this Thurs. Nov. 1st we will be having the all day Happy Hour for the Creative Cafe Debut!)

When will we find out what the Happy Hour project will be?

At the beginning of each week, we will have that week's sample project and a project card that shows everything you may want from the Creative Cafe out on display.

I know I skipped a few days, but I didn't anticipate no internet access while camping for the weekend! Sorry! Hope the fun shots make it worth it!!

Check out some of the punch outs and stickers... I absolutely love these!! We received our boxes today... which is very exciting, but there is lots of work yet to be done. The Creative Cafe was being shipped all the way from CA, so we knew we would be cutting it real close, but it is much earlier than anticipated! We are all so excited here and can barely wait to get it all together!! Keep checking for more photos and info!!

7 DAYS TO GO!

Check out some of the Creative Cafe rub-ons... aren't they awesome?!?! I am going to try and share a few pics of the product and a few projects each day of the countdown. I probably won't reveal everything, because what fun would that be! In the last post I gave a few more detail about our big Debut Day (Nov. 1st)!! That is that day that we will finally reveal the Creative Cafe. We may get it here before then, but we will be waiting until that day for it to open! (sorry to make you wait, but we want it to be right and this will take quite a while to set up... it breeds excitement anyways, huh?) We will be having our first "Happy Hour" that day as well. It will take place all day that Thursday! This will be $5 to make the entire project, so come prepared!! Also, we will be having a sale for those of you who choose to participate in our Creative Cafe Debut... The whole store (excluding Creative Cafe) will be 10% off. This is a VIP Member appreciation sale as well, which means you guys get to add your discount too! However, no other discounts will apply! We are very excited and hope to see you all there!!

Trick or Treat Sale - October 24 - 31, 2007
You will get the opportunity to "trick or treat" here at SI&M. With every purchase that you make throughout the week, you may draw from the "trick or treat" bucket for a discount. You never know what you may get!! (VIP Members may combine their normal 10% discount.)

Debut of Creative Cafe - Nov. 1, 2007
If you don't already know... SI&M is getting The Creative Cafe from Creative Imaginations. There were only 200 sold in the entire nation. This is going to be huge!! Nov. 1 will be the first day to see the Creative Cafe at SI&M. We will be having a "Happy Hour" project all day that day. "Happy Hour" is the opportunity for you to sit at the art bar and create a mini project for a small fee. These projects were all designed by some of the Scrapbook industries leading ladies (Danelle Johnson & Alison Wong). Also we will be having a sale for all of you who participate in the opening of the Creative Cafe. Everything in the store (Creative Cafe excluded) will be 10% off. And yes, VIP Members may combine their normal 10% discount, which means 20% off for you guys!! (no other discounts may apply) We hope to see you there for this exciting day!

Time for "Turkey Bucks" - Nov. 14, 2007
Starting Nov. 14, for every $10 spent on product in SI&M, you will be given a "Turkey Buck". You may collect these "Turkey Bucks" for the rest of November and then redeem them on more product during the month of December. Look for more details on the blog at a later date.

The day after Thanksgiving is always a fun day to do some shopping, so with tradition, we will be having an awesome sale! We will be open from 8am - 8pm that day as well.

I thought I might share some of the layouts that I got done at the Retreat earlier this month. Layout #1 was using the Creative Imaginations Rock Star line... loved it! #2 was the animal printed papers and stickers from Reminisce. #3 was more Reminisce; the Live Out Loud line! #4 was Tinkering Ink papers and the cool Finery embellishments!

THINKING AHEAD

Yes... these are Christmas cards! Me & a friend got together yesterday afternoon in order to start our Christmas cards. I have a very short attention span, so I would never dream of doing 30 of the same card to send, so we did things a little differently! We got together all of our Christmas products... new & old, scraps & non-scraps, cute & not-so-cute! We spread it all out in front of us and went for it. We decided to each design different cards, but we had to make 2 of each one... one for her & one for me! We didn't get finished yesterday, but we definitley have a start. All of our cards are different and it was much more fun to work with someone else! Good motivation!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!!

This was so much fun! Taylor just recently turned 12 and decided to have a birthday party here at SI&M for the second year in a row! These girls are some serious scrappers! I just thought I would share some store happenings! Isn't it neat to see this incredible hobby being shared by all ages! Happy Birthday Taylor!!
